Today was rather eventful. I spent most of first period finishing up the competition; I also submitted a logo design for next year, because I just want an iPod, though I doubt I'll end up getting one. I noticed that TJ was only a runner-up last year, and Montgomery Blair only placed in the top 5%. Either they're not picking good students, or the competition is incredibly intense.

Enrichment stuff during second period went rather well, but I didn't know there was an SNHS meeting today. I should definitely know this stuff, considering I'm president. I've been having a really hard time getting into a routine this year; if I organize my binder tonight, that should help. I got my AP Economics homework done just barely in time but not my AP Chemistry homework. I had forgotten that there were some laboratory questions to answer. She gave us our grades so far, and most people in the class appear to have a C. She then proceeded to say that we shouldn't be starting our homework during Enrichment (comment courtesy of either David or Jeremy), but I just shut my mouth, mainly because I was finishing the lab questions as she spoke and because my grade was a 101.7%.

After school, I went by Mrs. Euker's trailer to get the GSA flyers for the homecoming barbeque. I posted some and then went to my car to get stuff for the badminton captains' practice. When I finished, I went to post the rest of the flyers and noticed that the GSA board was empty. Someone tore down all three signs and left only the ribbons around the edge. I'm almost positive that they didn't fall down, because the staples were still in the bulletin board. I'll talk to Mrs. Euker about it tomorrow, and if it happens again, the administration will feel my wrath until disciplinary action is taken. I'm not going to allow vandalism. When I got to my car, I found that the battery was part-dead. I hadn't noticed, because the headlights had only been on for a few hours; my neighbor noticed and called my mom. I found Mr. Smith still there, so used Ms. Harvey's car to try and jumpstart it. Her car was too small, so my neighbor arrived and used his truck to jumpstart it.
